Saul Masbaitoeboen, the 39-year-old owner of Soelz Art Tattoo Shop in Arnhem, is a talented artist with a rich cultural background. Born to a Moluccan father and a Dutch mother, Saul's diverse heritage deeply influences his work.

Before becoming a renowned tattoo artist, Saul served as a corporal in the artillery with the 'Gele Rijders', but a life-changing accident 11 years ago set him on a new path.

Turning adversity into opportunity, Saul began tattooing and quickly developed a reputation for his specialization in portraits and black-and-grey realism. His meticulous attention to detail and skill have made him a sought-after artist in the tattoo community.

Beyond tattooing, Saul’s artistic talents extend to hand-painting custom jackets for high-profile clients like Rico Verhoeven, André Hazes Jr., and Raymond van Barneveld. He is also passionate about sculpting and painting, continuously exploring new creative outlets.

When not in his studio, Saul enjoys the freedom of the open road on his Harley, embodying a love for motorcycles that complements his artistic spirit.
