My name is Joy Pieters, and I’m from Papendrecht. I’m the founder of Pieters Fightgear, a brand dedicated to offering top-quality martial arts gear sometimes infused with elements from my Indonesian heritage.

At 32 years old, I’m the proud father of three children: my 10-year-old twin daughters, Fajen and Daey and my 4-year-old son, Zac. My passion for martial arts began at a young age, inspired by watching action films with my grandfather and trying to mimic the moves.

Since then I’ve immersed myself in martial arts, honing my skills in MMA, kickboxing, wrestling and taekwondo. My time as a Marine further solidified my determination and dedication.

With Pieters Fightgear I aim to share my experience and passion by delivering the highest quality martial arts products. My mission is to blend strength, tradition and unmatched quality into every item, drawing from my own journey and love for the sport. Pieters Fightgear is on the path to success and I’m confident it will achieve great things.

My wife, Michelle Pieters, is an essential support in both my personal and professional life. Her unwavering dedication to our family and her constant support have been pivotal in establishing Pieters Fightgear.
