I am inspired by ethnical, traditional tattoos, arts & crafts and that’s reflected in my work. You can call it a fusion marriage between ethnical styles.

I also like to use my Indonesian heritage in my designs and always design one of pieces for my clients.

Creating my own patterns, inspired by Indonesian textile designs like batik & Ikat and ornaments is one of my passions and incorporating them in a unique design is a challenge for me.

Next to machine work I also work in the traditional hand poke way. For this I also find my inspiration in my Indonesian heritage like the rich traditional tattoo culture from the Mentwai, Iban and Dayak. I also use batik/ikat designs, ornaments and woodcarvings as inspiration for my designs.
